80 carb/10protein/10%fat. the idea came from Graham’s book 80/10/10 diet. He says that humans are total monkeys when it comes to design, so fruit is the way to get calories/fuel. using proteins for calories is equivalent to burning your bricks for heat, and fats also are inefficient source of fuel as they are slooooww burning and meant for survival situations, not to mention throwing your organs out of balance. so, our whole freakin culture is in survival mode with fats and sugar, while they clog up their body with dairy, wheat, salt, etc, which slows the re-balancing.
it’s only been a week, and there was a transition of moods/energy right away. I was eating somewhat raw diet but barely any fruits and way too much fats (avocados, nuts, seeds, oils). since veggies have little calories, i was pretty much running on fats. right away, i noticed blood sugar rollercoaster because my pancreas was exhausted and beat up by my highfat diet (sugar remains in the bloodstream while the fat is being ‘dealt with’ or balanced out, giving the pancreas a full-time job 24/7 instead of a part-time task). after 2 days, i had a more steady energy level.
breakfast: a big papaya 2lbs. lunch: 5 bananas, 2 oranges, lunch2: 2 kiwis, 1 pound blueberries, romaine lettuce (as seen in photo), dinner would be apples, a Big salad of greens, shredded beets, carrots, cucumber,tomato, dates, celery, maybe avocado.. (this was a low-calorie day, i admit)
fruit = calories & vitamins
veggies = minerals & fiber
alcohol = toxins
i’m learning as i go…
